Servicing

Regular servicing can prolong the life of your caravan and enhance your touring experience.

It important it is to have your caravan or motorhome checked and serviced annually. Because they are road vehicles touring caravans have many moving parts, wheels, running gear and brakes; which all need to be checked at least once a year. This is insisted on by most insurance companies these days in their terms and conditions.

For your own personal safety it is also prudent to get a service and authorised check on the internal habitation equipment of your vehicle, such as your complete gas system including cookers, heaters and fridges. A gas or water leak, a burner or ventilation fault, could have serious implications to your caravan or motorhome and could ruin your touring experience.

Apple Caravan Servicing also test for damp and water ingress as this can take control very quickly. Regular damp checks identify problems sooner rather than later, making the repairs more cost effective than if left undiscovered for a long period of time. Electrical installations 240 volt (mains electrics) and 12 volt systems also require regular checks to make sure they remain safe to use.
